<title>Assessment of envelope’s thermal performance by different MCDA techniques</title>
<link>https://ir.lib.vntu.edu.ua//handle/123456789/37342</link>
<description>Assessment of envelope’s thermal performance by different MCDA techniques
Biks, Y. S.; Ratushnyak, O. G.; Бікс, Ю. С.; Ратушняк, О. Г.
The assessment of the thermal performance of multilayered envelopes was performed by different techniques of MultiCriteria Decision Analysis (MCDA). There was a proposed integral index of thermal performance as a comprehensive&#13;
evaluation parameter. As key influence criteria were taken into consideration as follows: the u-value of the envelope&#13;
W/m2K, the dimensionless decrement factor of the envelope f, the internal areal heat capacity of the envelope k1, kJ/m2K&#13;
according to ISO 13786:2017, the cost of the wall material, UAH/m2 and the mass of the wall kg/m2&#13;
. There were compared&#13;
eight types of wall assemblies from natural materials: hempcrete, adobe, strawbale panel, earthbag, cordwood, SIP,&#13;
hempcrete+straw and compositional building thermo-block. The comparison of the alternatives was proceeded by such&#13;
MCDA techniques as AHP, TOPSIS, Grey relation analysis (GRA) and Criteria Importance Theory (CIT). Conducted&#13;
research revealed that only two of eight wall types could be approximately defined as “medium” and “best” ones in&#13;
proposed terms of thermal performance – Wall from SIP and Wall from Cordwood. respectively.

<title>Mechanical properties and thermal conductivity of lime–hemp concrete</title>
<link>https://ir.lib.vntu.edu.ua//handle/123456789/37341</link>
<description>Mechanical properties and thermal conductivity of lime–hemp concrete
Gurskis, V.; Šadzevičius, R.; Ramukevičius, D.
The mechanical and thermal properties of lime-hemp concrete (hempcrete) were analysed in the paper. For the testing&#13;
of hempcrete, three compositions of mixtures were prepared using binders and filler (hemp shives) ratio 2.2: 1. Quicklime&#13;
was used as the main binder. Part of the mixtures were produced using a mixture of binders in which 10% of lime has&#13;
been replaced by cement or organic sapropel. The research results have shown 459 ... 497 kg / m3&#13;
 density of hempcrete.&#13;
Hempcrete made with a mixture 10% cement has a higher density, with 10% sapropel - a lower density. The compressive&#13;
strength testing results shows that organic sapropel-containing hempcrete is weaker than made with mineral binders.&#13;
The results of the thermal conductivity research shows that the hempcrete with the mineral binders has the highest thermal&#13;
conductivity, with sapropel - a lower thermal conductivity.

Ostapenko, O.; Остапенко, О. П.
The analysis of features of research and an estimation of efficiency of cycles of heat pumps with use of the&#13;
Solkane® programs at training of experts in a specialty "heat power engineering" was carried out. The capabilities of the programі can be used for training specialists in the specialty "heat power engineering",&#13;
which aims to study, design and evaluate the effectiveness of energy supply systems with heat pump installations, optimization of modes of operation of energy supply systems with heat pumps.
