Мотиваційні відношення зовнішньої подібності у структурі термінологічних іменників-юкстапозитів

Abstract

У статті проаналізовано мотиваційні відношення зовнішньої подібності, установлені між компонентами термінологічних іменників-юкстапозитів. З’ясовано специфіку вияву цих семантичних відношень, що полягає в мотивації за подібністю форми, розміру, кольору мотивувального та мотивованого компонентів термінологічного іменника-юкстапозита. Репрезентовано основні лексико-семантичні групи таких іменників, з’ясовано особливості їхньої структури.

В статье проанализированы мотивационные отношения внешнего сходства, которые устанавливаются между компонентами терминологических существительных-юкстапозитов. Выяснена специфика проявления этих семантических отношений, что заключается в установлении мотивации по сходству формы, розмера, цвета мотивирующего и мотивированого компонентов терминологического существительного-юкстапозита. Выявлена и охарактеризирована главная лексико-семантическая группа таких существительных, выяснены особенности их структуры.

The aim of the research is to analyze the motivational relations of external similarities in the structure of terminological noun-juxtapositions. The objectives of the research are the following: 1) to clarify the specific expression of external similarities’ semantic relations in the structure of terminological noun-juxtapositions; 2) to identify factors, which establish these semantic relations between motivating and motivated noun-juxtapositions components; 3) to identify and characterize lexical-semantic groups of such nouns, find out features of their structure. Terminological noun-juxtapositions are the subject of the study. The motivational relations of external similarities in their structure are the object of the study. The importance of similarities motivational relations in terminological nomination are analysed in the main part of the article. The specific character of semantic relations’ expression in terminological noun-juxtapositions are found out. The main lexico-semantic groups of such nouns are reviewed. It is determined that juxtapositions with prepositive motivated component dominate quantitatively among all gropus of juxtapositions which are analyzed. This group of juxtapositions is built on the traditional model for the Ukrainian language. It is concluded that motivational relations of external similarities is the principal expression of external similarities in the semantic structure of terminological noun-juxtapositions. They are specified between components of terminological noun-juxtapositions on the basis of metaphorical conversions as for outward sign of the shape, size and colour and at the same time they are the means of terminological nomination. Study of the functional and stylistic elements of common noun-juxtapositions of similarity relations are defined as the perspective concept of the research.
