Abstract
The article is about the integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) into higher education which is significantly transforming the sector by enhancing educational outcomes and optimizing administrative processes. These technologies facilitate personalized learning experiences that adapt to individual student needs, improving engagement and performance, particularly in STEM subjects. However, the adoption of ICT and AI also introduces complex challenges, such as ethical concerns regarding data privacy and algorithmic bias, and risks exacerbating the digital divide among students. The roles of faculty are evolving as AI and ICT become more embedded in educational environments, requiring educators to acquire new skills and adapt to innovative teaching methods. Overall, while ICT and AI offer substantial benefits in reshaping higher education, they necessitate careful implementation and ongoing management to address potential inequalities and ethical issues.
