«Словник ділової мови» М. Дорошенка, М. Станіславського, В. Страшкевича в контексті дослідження фемінітивів в українській діловій мові

Abstract

The article is dedicated to the analysis of the Russian-Ukrainian "Dictionary of Business Language: Terminology and Phraseology" by M. Doroshenko, M. Stanislavskyi, and V. Strashkevych (DBL) from the perspective of its significance as a component in the development of the official-business style in the Ukrainian language at the beginning of the 20th century. It is also examined as a valuable source for determining the degree of representation of feminine nouns (feminatives) proposed for use in official speech. The aim of the study is to explore the experience of compiling the DBL, with a focus on the presentation of feminatives, by summarizing the results of analyzing this lexicographic work both in terms of the formation of the official-business style in the Ukrainian language and in the context of the evolution of the feminative system in Ukrainian business communication. To achieve this goal, existing studies in which this dictionary is the subject of analysis were reviewed. Special attention was given to the representation of the feminative subsystem in this lexicographic work, which was intended to standardize Ukrainian-language business communication. The results of the study revealed that two distinct directions have emerged in the research on the DBL. In the works of some scholars, the dictionary is viewed as a stage in the formation of the official-business style in the Ukrainian language; in others, it is seen as a stage in the evolution of the feminative subsystem of the Ukrainian lexical system, during which the use of feminatives in business communication was allowed. The reasons for such differentiation in research perspectives on the DBL were highlighted: on the one hand, the authors of the DBL did not comment on the inclusion of feminatives; on the other hand, in the contemporary official-business style of the Ukrainian literary language, the use of feminatives is considered non-normative. The article also outlines prospects for further research, which include, in particular, a systematic study of the process of establishing norms for business language, combined with the specifics of integrating feminatives into it, aiming for the most comprehensive understanding of the processes and consequences of modern feminative "neologization."

Стаття присвячена аналізу російсько-українського «Словника ділової мови: термінологія та фразеологія» М. Дорошенка, М. Станиславського та В. Страшкевича (СДМ) з погляду його значення як складової процесу становлення офіційно-ділового стилю в українській мові початку ХХ ст., а також як цінного джерела для визначення ступеню репрезентації запропонованих до вживання в офіційному мовленні фемінітивів. Метою дослідження є осмислення досвіду укладення СДМ з погляду подання у ньому фемінітивів шляхом узагальнення результатів вивчення цієї лексикографічної праці як з боку формування офіційно-ділового стилю в українській мові, так і в контексті еволюції фемінітивної системи у діловій українській мові. Для досягнення цієї мети проаналізовано наявні дослідження, у яких вказаний словник є предметом розгляду. Особливу увагу приділено питанню репрезентації фемінітивної підсистеми у лексикографічній праці, що покликана унормувати ділову українськомовну комунікацію. Результати дослідження виявили, що на разі чітко відокремилися два напрями у дослідженні СДМ: в роботах одних науковців словник постає як етап у формуванні офіційно-ділового стилю в українській мові; у дослідженнях інших – як етап еволюції фемінітивної підсистеми лексичної системи української мов, на якому допускалося використання фемінітивів у діловій комунікації. Вказано підстави для такого розмежування аспектів досліджень СДМ: з одного боку, автори СДМ не коментують подання фемінітивів, з іншого – у сучасному офіційноділовому стилі українській літературної мови вживання фемінітивів є ненормативним. Окреслено також перспективи подальших досліджень, які передбачають, зокрема, систематизоване дослідження процесу складання норм ділової мови у комплексі зі специфікою входження до її складу фемінітивів з метою найбільш повного осмислення процесів та наслідків сучасної фемінінної «неологізації»
