Генезис поняття фрактал

Abstract

У цій роботі досліджено генезис поняття «фрактал», його історичні передумови та розвиток. Окрему увагу приділено внеску Бенуа Мандельброта, який запровадив термін «фрактал» та розвинув концепцію самоподібних структур.

This paper examines the genesis of the concept of "fractal", its historical background and development. Particular attention is paid to the contribution of Benoit Mandelbrot, who introduced the term "fractal" and developed the concept of self-similar structures.
