Розробка алгоритму визначення площі багатокутника з довільним набором вершин

Abstract

Запропоновано метод знаходження площі багатокутника, заданого координатами його вершин.

A method for finding the area of a polygon given the coordinates of its vertices is proposed. The Gauss formula is used, which allows calculating the area by summing the products of the vertex coordinates. Additionally, the sorting of points in the correct order by calculating the center of mass and angles relative to it is investigated.
