Abstract
Simplified meterological control of the P-code/analog converter is achieved with the usage of code presentation ambiguities in the same digit to enhance the reliability The gates corresp. to the number of digits in the code have their output connected to the relevant input of reference analog magnitudes adder which are proportional to the weights of P-code digits. The adder output forms the converter output feeding the multidigit input of the gates. The converter operates either in the regime of meterological control or in the regime of direct conversion following the first regime. The switching is carried out with a signal fed to controller (9) the command of which inserts a binary 'I' into the high order digit of code development unit (5). The output of each gate (I) is connected to the reference values adder (2) which can be made as a source of weighted currents.; The difference of output levels of the adder is detected by the discriminator (6) and the type of development of code is determined by unit (8) while the distorted digits numbers are stored in block (7). The first multidigit input of the code development unit (5) acts as the converter input while the second input is connected to block (7) made as a register. When the reference value cannot be used to provide the output analog value it causes a 'non- construction' failure. If it results in an output analogue value which is not proportional to the weight of the code digit 'detuning'type failure occurs.
