The study assessed the possibilities of applying artificial intelligence&#13;
technologies in scientific research in the field of heat and power engineering. The&#13;
possibilities of applying artificial intelligence for modeling, optimization and&#13;
forecasting of heat and power systems, including those with non-traditional and&#13;
renewable energy sources, were assessed. The possibilities of applying artificial&#13;
intelligence for modeling thermodynamic processes and cycles, as well as heat and&#13;
mass transfer processes were assessed. The possibilities of applying artificial&#13;
intelligence in energy audit and energy modernization were shown. Practical examples&#13;
of applying artificial intelligence in heat and power research were given. The&#13;
advantages, disadvantages and risks associated with the use of artificial intelligence&#13;
technologies in heat and power systems were assessed. Strategies for minimizing the&#13;
risks associated with the use of artificial intelligence technologies in research,&#13;
optimization and effective safe operation of heat and power systems were proposed.

For  Ukraine,  which  is  facing  unprecedented  challenges  of  post-war reconstruction, the task of implementing a sustainable development program is of particular importance. The energy sector, which is one of the key drivers of the economy and at the same  timea source of significant environmental burden, requires a deep transformation based on innovative technologies and approaches.  Our  study  assessed  Ukraine`s  capabilities  for  implementing  a sustainable  development program, took into account environmental aspects and  the  impact  of  innovative  energy  technologies.  The  economic  and environmental   aspects   of   implementing   the   principles   of   sustainable development  in  Ukraine  were  analyzed,  the  impact  of  innovative  energy technologies  in  the  context  of  implementing  the  principles  of  sustainable development  was  assessed.  The  state  of  implementation  of  heat  pumps  in Ukraine  in  the  context  of  sustainable  development  was  analyzed.  The environmental  aspects of  implementing  innovative  technologies  in  the  heat power    industry of    Ukraine    were    assessed.    The    UBP    Method (Umweltbelastungspunkte  or  Environmental  Impact  Points)  was  analyzed and its capabilities and features of application for assessing heat pumps were assessed. The principles of practical application of the UBP methodfor heat pumps  in  Ukraine  were  shown.  The  study  assessed  the  environmental performance   of   heat   pumps   using   the   UBP   method,   confirming   the improvement  in  the  environmental  impact  of  heat  pumps  when  using electricity  renewable sources compared to electricity  the Ukrainian grid. Our study applied scientific and methodological foundations and results  previous studies.

Sustainable  development  of  the  regions  of  Ukraine  requires  a  compre-hensive approach to the socio-economic and environmental development of territories. The  key  goal  of  ensuring  sustainable  development  is  to  achieve harmonious and self-sufficient development of regionstaking into account the long-term  perspective.  Our  study  assessed  the  environmental  aspects  of sustainable development of the regions of Ukraine, assessed the impact of the integration  of  heat  pumps  and  renewable  energy  sources  on  environmental impact indicators, assessed the environmental impact indicators of heat pumps, and confirmed the improvement of environmental impact indicators in the case of  using  natural  renewable  sources  of  low-temperature  heat  and  electricity   renewable  sources  in  heat  pumps.  Our  study  used  scientific  and methodological foundations and results  previous studies.; Сталий розвиток регіонів України потребує комплексного підходу до соціально-економічного та екологічного розвитку територій. Основною метою забезпечення сталого розвитку є досягнення гармонійного та самодостатнього розвитку регіону з урахуванням довгострокової перспективи. У нашому дослідженні оцінено екологічні аспекти сталого розвитку регіонів України, оцінено вплив інтеграції теплових насосів та відновлюваних джерел енергії на показники впливу на навколишнє середовище, оцінено показники впливу теплових насосів на навколишнє середовище та підтверджено покращення показників впливу на навколишнє середовище у разі використання природних відновлюваних джерел низькотемпературного тепла та електроенергії з відновлюваних джерел у теплових насосах. У нашому дослідженні використано науково-методичні основи та результати попередніх досліджень.

The study presents an approach aimed at assessing trends in the transforming the energy sector of&#13;
Ukraine in the future until 2050, using renewable energy sources in the concept of Sustainable Development,&#13;
with taking into account the trends of transforming the energy sectors of World and European Union in the&#13;
perspective to 2050. Our research is aimed at: analysing of the trends of transforming the energy sectors of&#13;
the world, the European Union and Ukraine and identifying the benefits of using renewable energy sources&#13;
in the concept of Sustainable Development in the perspective to 2050, assessment of prospects for the&#13;
application of innovative technologies based on renewable energy sources in the concept of Sustainable&#13;
Development. A number of criteria for energy, economic and environmental efficiency of innovative&#13;
technologies for the use of renewable energy sources are analysed in order to conduct a comprehensive&#13;
assessment of the effectiveness of energy and resource-saving, environmentally friendly and cost-effective&#13;
innovative technologies in the concept of Sustainable Development in the perspective to 2050. This approach&#13;
allows providing a reasonable definition of prospects for the use of energy and resource-saving,&#13;
environmentally friendly and cost-effective innovative technologies for the use of renewable energy sources&#13;
in the concept of sustainable development to increase energy, economic efficiency and environmental&#13;
security of Ukraine's energy sector in the perspective to 2050.
