Abstract

The diploma project is devoted to the development of a technological installation based on neodymium laser for metal processing. The analytical review of laser technologies and operations for metal processing and the comparative analysis of powerful solid-state lasers and corresponding technological systems are made. The project based on the analysis of literature sources carried out a feasibility study of the feasibility of development, formulated the main requirements that must be met to obtain a competitive device, identified the main ways to achieve them. Modeling of interaction processes of high-intensity laser radiation with matter is carried out. The laser parameters and the optical system for focusing have been calculated on the basis of which the electrical and optical circuits of the laser technological installation have been developed. Also, the design and economic calculations were carried out, and the issues of operation of a neodymium laser in emergency situations were considered.
