Abstract

Thesis is devoted to developing information technology for recognizing scanned images. As more developing technology, almost every computer user has a scanner. Using scanning devices requires a software for image processing. Imperfect obscurity and the principle of beginners have led to the development of information technology recognizing scanned images based on image segmentation and applying filters to the objects that will help improve the quality of the image. Information technology recognition of scanned images is implemented in the programming environment IntelliJ IDEA using object-oriented programming language Java 1.7. The results obtained during the execution of the thesis can be used by designers and marketers who work with scanned images, and those who use the scanned magazines or books in your own case.
