Abstract

A process for processing of highly toxic substances and binary systems in copper and zinc composition of rinse water of electroplating industry by their treatment with sulphide-alcaline wastes of petrochemical industry with further extraction of sludge by filtering. As petrochemical wastes the spent sulphide-alcaline solutions of treatment of crude oil are used. The total stoichiometric quantity of cuprum (II) and zinc (II) ions is added. The reaction mixture is mixed for 15-20 minutes, correcting the pH medium to 4.0-6.0 units and quantity of rinse water of electroplating industry to complete precipitation of copper (II) sulphide and zinc (II) sulphide.
