Abstract

Airport buses are an important part of the airport infrastructure, providing fast and comfortable transportation of passengers between the terminal and the aircraft. One of the promising areas of their development isthe transition to electric traction. The main approachesto designing the electric drive of an airport bus on electric traction are considered, in particular the choice of the type of electric motor, transmission and traction battery. The efficiency of using lithium-ion batteries and the possibilities of integrating regenerative braking systems are analyzed.
