Abstract

The increase in gross Ni in the soils of the Dnieper is mainly due to emissions from the TPP when burning coal. The annual release of Ni compounds into the atmospheric air from 11 stationary sources of environmental pollution is 1,521 tons, an average of 0,138 per enterprise. There was a need for ecological monitoring of the content of this pollutant in the soil of the Urboekosystem of the city of Dnipro.
