The article considers the application of Shannon entropy to assess the diagnostic characteristics of technological systems, taking into account the specifics of magnetic resonance processes for processing materials. Entropy, as a measure of uncertainty, is used to analyze information obtained from probability distributions of parameters that reflect magnetic resonance effects. A method for calculating entropy estimates is proposed, which takes into account the dynamics of changes in the state of materials during processing, in particular under the influence of external magnetic fields. A study of key parameters that affect the diagnostics of the state of materials, such as uniformity, structural changes, and resistance to external influences, is carried out.
