Abstract

At present, the world's nuclear energy is undergoing the so-called nuclear renaissance. Algeria, Vietnam, Jordan, Macedonia, Australia have announced plans to develop nuclear energy and build new power units in Italy and Sweden, and the construction of a new nuclear power plant in Armenia has begun. The Swedish government lifted a 30-year moratorium on the construction of nuclear power plants, stressing that nuclear energy will play an important, leading and decisive role in the country's electricity industry in the future. In Ukraine, the pace of extraction of uranium raw materials from the Novokostiantynivsky deposit is growing. The reserves of uranium of Novokostyantinivsky deposit are estimated to be the largest in Europe.
