Оцінка якості мультимедійного трафіку під час перемикання між точками доступу у мережах Wi-Fi

Abstract

The paper considers the conducted researches on the influence of the automatic switching mechanism on movable subscribers between access points in Wi‐Fi networks based on quality estimation of the multimedia traffic. The results of the research show that quality analysis of multimedia traffic in wireless Wi‐Fi networks can apply methods of spatial image processing, such as luminance histogram of certain selected frames before the transfer and after the transfer. It had been elucidated that by virtue of the histograms make possible estimating the distortion, made by transmission channel. Applying this concept it had studied the features of the automatic switching between access points while moving the subscriber’s receive‐transmitting equipment during the data exchanging session in Wi‐Fi network
