Abstract

It is proposed to create a marine ecological monitoring system using special vessels. The main purpose of such a system is to conduct observations and laboratory control of the state of pollution of the water surface, sampling and conducting laboratory studies of contamination of objects by radioactive and chemical substances, and bacterial agents. In the general problem of pollution of rivers, seas and oceans one of the leading places belongs hydrocarbons, and, in the first place, oil and petroleum products. It is today that oil is the main pollutant of water.
