dc.description.abstract	A three-dimensional model of a straight turning tool with an insert has been created. The cutting parameters for machining were calculated. A static structural analysis of the turning tool was conducted during the removal of the roughing allowance from the workpiece. The safety margins and factors of safety were calculated under critically destructive and optimal cutting conditions.	en
