Два типи знання і дві моделі освіти

Abstract

The question on the opposition bases in educational activity of humanitarian and natural-science disciplines is discussed. Two basic educational paradigms — natural-science and humanitarian – are considered. It is shown that their specificity is caused by the gnoseological nature of corresponding types of knowledge. The analysis of formation and development of classical model of education is carried out and its features are revealed. The place and role оf the hermeneutic approach to education is discussed in the paper on an example of positions of H.-G. Gadamer and R. Rorti. As a result the opinion that the account of specificity of knowledge and specificity of corresponding model will promote a harmonious development of education, increase of its quality is expressed.
