Abstract

A device for maintaining optimum pressure of a current collector on an overhead contact system relates to electrical engineering and can be used to ensure optimal contact pressure on the overhead contact system, such as a current collector of a tram. Using the device allows to more objectively evaluate and adjust the parameters of operation of a current collector thus increasing accuracy of the device and reducing power loss in the transient contact "contact wire - current collector".
