The paper explores modern applications of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) in cybersecurity. Algorithms for intrusion detection, malware classification, user behavior analysis, and threat prediction are examined. The advantages of AI/ML systems over traditional approaches are highlighted, along with challenges related to model interpretability, data quality, and defenses against adversarial attacks. Prospects for hybrid, adaptive, and federated cybersecurity systems are outlined.
