Еміграція молоді у період військової нестабільності України

Abstract

The article addresses the issue of youth emigration during a period of military instability and its impact on the demographic landscape of Ukraine. It is argued that the full-scale invasion of Russia into Ukraine in February 2022 had far-reaching social and economic consequences, particularly related to the mental and physical health of the population. Examining the specifics and characteristics of youth emigration in contemporary conditions, it is established that there is a problematic situation characterized by a conflict between people`s desire to leave the country and to stay in Ukraine. Among the factors influencing this situation are both internal and external elements. Internal factors include the military conflict in eastern Ukraine, political instability, economic crisis, and inequality of opportunities among regions. External factors include opportunities for education and work abroad, as well as the lenient migration policies of EU countries.
