Abstract

The paper proposed a new information technology for preferences detection of decision-maker based on the conduction and further numerical interpretation of visual rankings of alternatives. Alternatives are placed on the shelves of preferences by principle of "the better alternative, the higher shelf". Was considered examples of numerical interpretation of binary and ternary visual rankings.
