Abstract

Today, under the pressure of irrefutable facts, it is officially recognized: the functional health of the younger generation is environmentally dependent. Therefore, the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (1989), the documents of the United Nations Special Session (2002), the World Summit (2002), the International Conference of the Countries of the European Region (2004), recognized the right of children to live in a healthy environment. On this basis, the states of the European region committed themselves (beginning in 2007) to embarking on the implementation of the program "Environment and Children's Health" (SENARE).
