Вплив Першої світової війни на охорону здоров`я в містах Правобережної України (1914–1917 рр.)

Abstract

The article deals with the problems of the medical sphere of the Right-bank Ukraine caused by the First World War. It was noted that at the beginning of the war days in the cities of the region there was a sharp rise in prices of medicines and a lack of medical workers because of mobilization, which occurred simultaneously with the increase of the load on medical infrastructure due to the need of treatment and care of wounded and sick military servicemen of the Russian army. It was established that under such conditions medicine became inaccessible to the local population.
