Abstract

The proposed method for switching optical signals passing trough the input and output lightguides consists in separating the input optical signals according to the signal spectral components, modulating the separated signals by modulating optical radiation, and separating the output signals according to the spectral components. The proposed device for switching optical signals contains input and output lightguides, a control unit, an optical modulator, and an optical signal converter.
