Abstract

There had also been considered the question of current collection and transferring of electric energy from the contact system to the street car system of electric consumption through the pantograph collector with the usage of thermal imager. It has been researched that the places of connection of movable parts of the pantograph collector by copper conductor shunting is the basic source of electric energy losses in the pantograph collector. There had been suggested the method for losses reduction. The researches were conducted in the utility enterprise "Vinnytsia street car and trolleybuses administration"
