Abstract

A control unit for a gas-discharge electron gun contains a gas-discharge electron gun which consists of a cold cathode, around of which a high-voltage separate insulator is placed, an anode that is connected to a beam waveguide made as a wide-band distribution beam-plasma electromagnetic system, as well as a magnetic focusing system located from both sides of the beam waveguide. The cold cathode is made multibeam with part of beams being directed to the wide-band distribution beam-plasma electromagnetic system made as coaxially located magnetically connected delay-line structure, a collector and a reflector. On the output of the said system, a function generator included in a control system for gas pressure in the gas-discharge electronic gun is incorporated.
