Анотація
This article deals with lexical borrowing from French and it classifies the scope of their use. The article separates the concept of internationalisms, material borrowing andtranslation loan-words. The thesis of the article highlights the existing of positive and negative views about borrowing. It gives the examples of actual Ukrainian lexical matches.
