Спосіб аналого-цифрового перетворення та пристрій для його реалізації

Abstract

A method for analogue-to-digital conversion and an apparatus for its realization relate to digital measuring and calculating techniques and may be used for conversion of analogue quantities to digital ones. The method comprises: comparison input signal with compensation signal in each clock cycle, formation output code based on superfluous item notations (NPCC) depending on result of comparison in all clock cycles. Compensation signal is formed as a sum of reference values, values of which proportional to significances of digit position of NPCC with digit factors [1; -1] on condition that interval of balanced clock cycles are set reverse to the said significances of digit position so that the next clock cycle is a time longer than the previous one, where a – ratio between significances of adjacent digit positions of NPCC. Technical result: variable duration of clock cycles is got, and, accordingly reduction of bitwise total equilibration time that result in speeding apparatus response and field of application extension.
