Abstract

The paper is dedicated to well-known methods and alternative techniques that are offered in recent years to evaluation the effectiveness of investment projects. The purpose of research is systematization of theoretical and methodological principles for evaluating the effectiveness of investments and definition their positive and negative features in the context of complete evaluation of the effectiveness of project. The main method that was used in the research is the analysis. The content of the new methods of evaluation investment projects is disclosed. Most common methods of evaluation investment projects and its research are presented and five new methods are analysed in the context of their strengths and weaknesses. An analysis of its possible applying has been done. The most appropriate and complete method of investment projects is the method offered by scientists A. Azarova and D. Bershov. The effectiveness of the their allow in addition to traditional approaches to determination the time value of money it takes into account previous experience of the functioning of the enterprise.
