Abstract

Current reflectors based on bipolar transistors are used in various electronic devices such as current amplifiers, codeto-current converters, analog-to-digital converters, power supplies, and others. Low-power bipolar transistors can operate in linear mode at low voltages and currents. The paper describes a new method of designing current reflectors with high and ultra-high output resistance, using a composition of n-p-n and p-n-p transistors to compensate for changes in the base current due to various factors. The structure and shortcomings of known schemes of current reflectors are considered, and circuit modeling of the proposed structures is also carried out. Recommendations are provided for their use in multi-channel analogto-digital converters.
