Сучасні тенденції в методиці викладання української мови за професійним спрямуванням

Abstract

The article deals with the problem of combining traditional and interactive teaching methods in the lessons of the discipline «Ukrainian Language (for professional purposes)». The experience of introduction of the latest teaching technologies at Vinnytsia National Technical University, based on the theory of personality-oriented education, is highlighted. The following features of interactive

learning are distinguished: dialogism, atmosphere of success, equal interaction of students and a teacher, conscious regulation and activation of their behaviour, formation of cognitive self-determination of students. The authors of the article analyze different interpretations of the term «an interactive teaching method»; summarize the known classifications of interactive methods, designed by different criteria; identify potential opportunities for using these methods for teaching students specific topics in the discipline «Ukrainian language (for professional purposes)»; give examples of tasks which are aimed at developing communicative skills of students of higher technical education institutions; provide practical advice as for the application of the proposed exercises and tasks. The necessity of implementation of certain forms, methods and technologies of teaching of the Ukrainian language in the modern higher school is substantiated in the article, among them: a visualized lecture, a snow ball, a role-playing game, a video summary, a situational learning method (case-method) and a sociolinguistic experiment. It is proved that the use of interactive teaching methods gives students of higher education institutions unique opportunities: to acquire skills to navigate in the fields of official business oral and written language, to learn the peculiarities of the language system, the specific use of different language units depending on the situation and the purpose of communication. Students develop stable linguistic, spoken and communicative skills in the scientific and professional fields according to the current norms of the Ukrainian literary language.
