Abstract

One of the most pressing problems of our time is the climate change that appeared before humanity in the 21st century. On the territory of Ukraine, climate change is most pronounced in the high volatility of the temperature regime and the amount of precipitation, as well as in the increase in the intensity and frequency of hazardous natural hydro meteorological phenomena. Scientists of leading research institutions of Ukraine during recent years have carried out large-scale research aimed at developing projections of the future climate of Ukraine for the nearest and distant prospects, assessing the impact of regional climate change on climate-dependent natural resources and the state of ecosystems.
