Abstract

A method for manufacturing thin-walled shell parts in the form of a dome-shaped body of revolution comprises cutting a workpiece, rotary extrusion with simultaneous hardening and drawing, and turning of a roller about an axis perpendicular to the direction of the axis of generatrix of surface to be processed is carried out using numerical control, wherein when the roll passes on the right the workpiece is drawn and when the roll passes on the left side it is compacted forming a thin-walled shell.
