Abstract

System of the mine electric locomotive electric drive with the use of traction alternating current engines is proposed. The replacement of the existing relay-contactor control system of the electric locomotive on the modern microprocessor system has been performed, which allows to increase the reliability and flexibility of the adjustment of the electric drive system, provide a smooth adjustment of the traction effort of the electric locomotive, as well as protection against towing.
