Abstract

The manual includes the classical methods of calculation of statically determinate and statically indeterminate rod systems for strength, rigidity, stability and vibration on dynamic and seismic actions. Discusses the calculation of inclined shells of double curvature with the help of Fourier series. Also shows you the basics of the finite element method (FEM) and calculation of building structures using FEM. All sections are accompanied by the algorithms and examples of solving typical problems. The discussed topics are preceded by a brief theoretical information. The grant is intended for students of higher technical institutions, experts in the field of continuum mechanics and structural mechanics .
