| uk |
| dc.description.abstract | The relevance of the study is due to the need to preserve and restore the human potential of Ukraine in the face of military challenges, demographic losses and the transformation of the agro-food sector as a strategic sector of the national economy into a stable cooperative ecosystem. Of particular importance is the search for effective mechanisms for reproducing human capital to ensure food security and sustainable development of territories. The purpose of the study was to substantiate the theoretical and methodological principles for assessing the human potential of the country, with an emphasis on the agri-food sector and the development of cooperative ecosystems as a strategic mechanism for its reproduction, under current socio-economic transformations. The methodological basis of the study was the systemic, structural-functional, comparative and economic-statistical approaches, as well as SWOT analysis, which allowed for a comprehensive assessment of the state, risks and prospects for the development of human potential. Conceptual modelling and the method of integral assessment were used to formalise the processes of its reproduction. It has been established that human potential is a key factor in the economic stability and competitiveness of the state in the conditions of war and post-war transformations. The dynamics of the human development index of Ukraine have been analysed and the negative impact of demographic losses, migration processes and structural imbalances on the qualitative characteristics of human capital has been identified. The level of healthcare financing has been assessed and its lag behind European standards has been determined. Ukraine’s position in the global innovation environment has been studied and their significance for the reproduction of intellectual capital has been substantiated. The risks of loss of human potential as a result of war have been systematised and their impact on economic development has been assessed. A conceptual model for assessing the human potential of the agri-food sector has been developed, and the advantages, limitations, opportunities and threats to its development have been identified. The practical value of the results lies in the possibility of their use by state administration bodies, scientific institutions and agro-industrial sector entities in the formation of strategies for the restoration of human potential, the development of rural areas and ensuring the sustainable functioning of the agri-food system of Ukraine. | en |
