Abstract

This paper presents a series of old residential section of built-50s of XX century., As they are called, "hruschivky." Undoubtedly, "hruschivky" can confidently be called a grand breakthrough and a great achievement in the history of construction, but to date they have fully complied with their task, so they, of course, to bear or, in extreme cases, to repair and reconstruct. As for why, and studied problems and shortcomings of the presented series, reviewed the available methods to improve their living conditions. Shows diverse methods of reconstruction, redevelopment and modernization of buildings in different areas of construction. Investigated and presented the positive and negative aspects of the use of each project to modernize outdated buildings.
