This article analyzes the potential of transformer-based artificial intelligence models in teaching Hebrew as a lowresource language. It examines the capabilities of GPT, BERT, and AlephBERT for generating educational materials, providing feedback, and supporting language practice. Key pedagogical challenges – such as content quality, ethics, and the teacher’s role – are outlined. The study concludes that AI integration is promising if supported by proper pedagogical guidance and cultural adaptation.
