Філософсько-релігійні засади гуманістичного виховання

Abstract

The article covers the philosophical and religious principles of humanistic education. It presents the retrospective view on the role of Christianity in the process of a personality forming. The authors of the article analyze different religious ideas connected with the future and their role in the adoption of common to all mankind human values by the youth. Nowadays young people don`t follow philosophical and religious views and ideas and often even don`t understand their meaning. Therefore, it is important for educators and teachers to work out an effective educational strategy, develop the spiritual sphere of a personality, form value-oriented attitudes and sustainable behavioral stereotypes based on common to all mankind humanistic and spiritual values. All these efforts should be directed to ensuring the conditions for a happy existence of each person «here» and «now», the ability to feel joy and satisfaction by his work in favor of the common goodness and welfare, the feeling of necessity to help and support another people and undisputed recognition of universal values. This is themain task of humanistic education, that will be the most effective given that the support of religious and philosophical principles in the course of a personality formation are provided.
