Abstract

The subject of the analysis in the article is the nature of artistic detail and its figurative-expressive function. Emphasizes that the art detail - it does not trope, but a direct indicate to a specific peculiarity of an object or phenomenon that reveals its essence. Attention is drawn to the fact that expertly selected item can replace the long description. Indicated that the selection of details is always associated with the ideological and artistic positions of the writer. It is proposed typology of artistic details (domestic, landscape, portrait, psychological).
