Investment Crowdfunding Platforms in Ukraine: Development Prospects and Regulation

Abstract

The article defines the essence of the concept of crowdfunding as a modern way of financing creative ideas, new enterprises, innovations, technologies and socially significant projects in the conditions of growing computerization and informatization. The target audience of the financing tool is defined and the essence of the online platforms used to collect funds for the projects presented is described. It was analyzed that joint investment organizations are gaining more and more popularity in Ukraine. Factors restraining the development of financing methods in Ukraine are outlined, and recommendations are provided for further strengthening the functioning of crowdfunding in the country.
