Abstract

The proposed optoelectronic pulse counter contains a trigger, loading elements and light-emitting diodes in the bit circuits of the counter, control buses, a power-supply unit, and additionally, a clock pulse generator. The output of the generator is connected to the counting input of the trigger. The normal output of the trigger is connected to the first control bus, and the inverse output is connected to the second control bus. The second terminals of the light-emitting diodes in the even bit circuits are connected to the third control bus that is connected to the terminal of the power-supply unit via a current-limiting resistor. The second terminals of the loading elements in all the bit circuits are connected to the terminal of the power-supply unit. The second terminal of the resistor in the reset circuit is used as the input of the counter. The terminals of the cathodes of the light-emitting diodes are used as the bit outputs of the counter.
