Abstract

The proposed device for measuring angular speed and angular acceleration of a shaft contains an optical radiation source, a lens, a photodetector array, a processor, and an extension designed as an Archimedes' spiral and arranged at the shaft. As the optical radiation source, a semiconductor laser is used. The output of the photodetector array is connected to the input of the processor.
