Abstract

When propagation of laser radiation in the atmosphere used interaction effects of electromagnetic waves of air, which lead to the conclusion about the properties of the atmosphere. These effects include: scattering by atmospheric aerosols, Rayleigh scattering, spontaneous Raman scattering and resonance scattering and absorption, depolarization, Doppler broadening and frequency shift of radiation fluctuation amplitude and phase of the light wave. Using laser methods of research can get information on all the most important parameters of the atmosphere.
