Abstract

Folk architectural creativity most clearly manifested itself in rural construction. Its characteristic feature is the organic unity of utilitarian and technical requirements as well as the artistic form. Folk creativity finds its embodiment not only in the planning and constructive resolution, but also in the aesthetic decision of the house. In our time, in the field of mass individual construction, there are few successful architectural and planning decisions. The lack of harmonious decorative elements and details in the structure of most manor houses makes them difficult, they become too monumental, disturbing traditionally acceptable large-scale ratios characteristic of rural housing.
