Abstract

The scientific work contains the general trends regarding the principles of reconstruction of bridge structures based on many years of experience in the survey and construction of highway bridges in the Vinnytsia region. Have been analyzed the structural solutions and typical technical conditions of beam bridges erected in the past, typical defects of damage to bridge elements that appear during long-term operation. Have been proposed the rational and universal constructive solution of the reconstruction by replacing the span structure which meets the requirements of current standards for durability, load capacity and required overall dimensions of the bridge structure in most cases.
