Анотація

Activated carbon is a universal adsorbent and is widely used in many industries. In the food industry, for example in the production of sugar, alcoholic beverages, fats and oils, they improve the color, taste and suitability of the food material. In the chemical and pharmaceutical industry, liquid preparations clarify and remove unwanted components. Ion exchangers with activated carbon are in many ways better than synthetic and mineral ions. Their use as porous gas electrodes is well known and will develop with their mass production. They are excellent adsorbents for the recovery of organic solvents, precious metals and sulfur.
