Стаття присвячена дослідженню можливостей архітектури ResNet-50 для автоматичної класифікації типів твердих побутових відходів (ТПВ) та одночасної оцінки ступеня їх забрудненості на основі RGBзображень. Розглянуто ключові особливості ResNet-50 – механізм залишкових блоків, transfer learning з ImageNet та аугментацію даних, що забезпечують високу стійкість до варіацій ракурсу, освітлення та забруднень.
